A Midsummer Night's Dream
The Utah Shakespeare Festival
Educational Tour
January 2017
Designer: Steve Schmid
Draper: Clare Richey-Kaplan
First Hand: Alex Hagman
Stitchers: Bonnie Chandek, Kerry McCarthy
This production consisted of 23 builds made out of Tyvek in order to achieve the designer's dream: a show made of paper. Tyvek was chosen for it's durable qualities as this show consists of over 60 performances across the Southwestern United States. The Tyvek was colored with acrylic inks and flatlined with poly cotton.
